3 Tips

1/ Comments on Database Properties

You might have already seen it, but database properties now have a “Comments” system! Simply hit the “comment” icon on the right of your property.

Quick caveat — it doesn’t work for:

• Title property

• Empty properties

• Formula, button, unique ID, and rollup properties (makes sense for rollups but expecting it later for formulas)

• Checkbox properties from the table. You’ll have to open the database page to do so.

2/ Chat with AI in Full-Page

A “Notion AI” button has been added to your left sidebar. Click it to access Notion AI in full page — à la ChatGPT.

As always, you can ask general questions, ask questions about your workspace, and retrieve all your chat threads in a single location.

3/ Nested Quote Blocks

Have you ever tried nesting quote blocks?

Well, nothing crazy, but it makes the quote bigger and bigger each time. Fun little design thingy.

Works with Quote size = Large only 😉 (access block settings → Quote size)

2/ Recurring Review System

This system allows for regular reviews of any content in a database by automatically determining the next review date based on set intervals. It provides a dashboard to see which items need reviewing and includes a button to mark items as reviewed, which updates the next review date automatically.

This approach is useful because it ensures content is reviewed consistently without manual tracking, saves time by automating scheduling and tracking, keeps the database organized and up-to-date, and simplifies the review process with an intuitive dashboard and easy-to-use buttons.
