Tomorrow I'm leaving for a new place! We're heading to Mirissa, Sri Lanka, for (hopefully) another 9 months. I'm quite excited about this new adventure 🤓

Of course, it also means saying goodbye to France, family, and friends, which is always a bit heartbreaking. We've managed to secure a house with a spare bedroom, so I'm hoping this will encourage some visitors!

These mixed feelings usually fade once we arrive — especially in a country so different from what we're used to at home.

Can't wait to hit the waves again!

3 Tips

1/ There’s a New Callout In Town

Callouts got a pretty nice upgrade. So what changed? It got simpler.

2 things (that used to bother me) disappeared:

• the obligation to have an icon: click your icon, then click the remove button at the top-right

• the obligation to have a title: you can now start your callout by any type of block you want (headings, table, database, etc.)

One useful use case of this new callout is using it for creating sections. But it's worth noting that, currently, headings in callouts won't appear in your table of contents (I guess it'll be fixed soon).

2/ Sort a List by Date Property

Another great formula 2.0 use from Kavisha: sorting a list by date property.

She uses her habit tracker as an example, which is linked to a Month database where she aggregates the sorted dates and habit completion.

• MyHabits is the relation property to the habits database

• Date is the date property from the habits database

• Done? is the checkbox property from the habits database

3/ Ask Notion AI about Google Drive

You can now connect Google Drive to Notion AI, enabling seamless access to your files directly within Notion while respecting Google Drive's existing permissions.

The integration setup is straightforward, and admins can manage and customize access settings to ensure only selected user groups and shared drives are available to Notion AI.

A few examples:

• Notion Charts → You can display max. 200 bars/slices

• "Sorry, that request was too large. Try import instead?" → You can add up to 750 KB of text before hitting this error message

• Automations → Can have a maximum of 100 steps
